Remembering back to when I was school-age and would be questioned "what do you want to be when you grow up?" I responded consistently, with, "being a doctor". In a child's mind, a "doctor" makes people better. Right? That is what majority are led to believe... until their experience reveals otherwise. Take a moment and reflect on the last time you were "seen" by a "health professional". What was your experience like? Anxious? Confusing? Interrogate-like? Invasive? Lab-testing? Un-welcoming?
